Their ambition is really only to make great products

Crux is a small brand that develops and manufactures products purely for mountaineering. They started out in 2002 with just 5 products. Since then the Crux range has grown, and today includes sleeping bags, down jackets and hardshells. But each of their product ranges remains quite small – usually only half a dozen styles at most – as they target only climbing and closely-related activities.

Their ambition is really only to make great products, knowing that they are not for everyone, but that they are the right ones for a few. All their gear is designed from personal experience. They use what are the best materials and components purely on the basis of performance. Their factories, in the Far East and Europe, are small family or privately owned companies with whom we have worked for a long time.
